Vivo X50, X50 Pro, X50 Plus unveiled with high-end specifications

Vivo announced a new flagship smartphone lineup in china, Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 plus, its price, specifications, camera features everything you need to know. It’s been in leaks and rumors from the past few days, and company teasing it from a week, now finally they are launched in China. The three phone carries the same punch-hole design, multiple cameras and comes with 5G connectivity. The X50 pro plus features snapdragon 865 processor while the X50 and X50 pro support Snapdragon 765 SOC. 

Vivo always is known for its cameras, the new flagship series packs with incredible cameras, and great hardware and slim design. It may also launch in India soon.


The Vivo X50 is priced at CNY 3,498 (Rs. 37,100) for the 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 256GB priced at CNY 3,898 ( Rs. 41,300). It comes in Black Mirror, Shallow, and Liquid Oxygen color options. The phone is up for pre-sales right now on the official website and the sale will start from June 6.

The Vivo X50 Pro is priced at CNY 4,298 (Rs. 45,600) for the 8GB + 128GB storage option and CNY 4,698 (Rs. 49,800) for the 8GB + 256GB storages. You can buy it from their official website and It will go on sale from June 12.

The bigger brother, the Vivo X50 Pro+ is priced at CNY 4,998 (Rs. 53,000) for the 8GB + 128GB storag, CNY 5,498 (Rs. 58,300) for the 8GB + 256GB storage option, and CNY 5,998 (Rs. 63,300) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. The phone will go on sale in July.

Starting with the youngest brother, Vivo X50 features a 6.56 inches super AMOLED display with punch hole design housing a 32MP camera and in-display fingerprint scanner. The company claims that X50 will be the slimmest and lightest 5G smartphone in the market. 

The phone is made of glass with an aluminum frame. The display supports a 90HZ refresh rate, HDR 10+, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. There is no mention of anything about display protection.

Vivo X50 runs on Android 10 out of the box and topped with Funtouch OS 10.5. The phone comes in 3 Colors Black, Blue, and Pink.

Under the hood, Vivo X50 packs with a snapdragon 765 processor that supports 5G connectivity. Coupled with 8GB Ram and UFS 2.1 storage, it’s an upper midrange processor that is good for gaming. The phone comes with a 4200mah battery that supports 33W fast charging, and it can charger the phone 0 percent to 50 percent in just 20 minutes.

Let’s talk about cameras, The rear of the phone packs with a quad-camera setup, the main 48MP camera with the aperture of f1.6 following with 13MP portrait sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro sensor and on the front side, a 32MP camera for selfie.

Other features include, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C and so on.

Vivo X50 pro comes with a 6.56 inches AMOLED display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels (HD+). The Display features curve edges, HDR 10+, and 90hz refresh rate. The phone measures 8mm thickness and weighs 181grm. It runs of android out of the box and topped with Funtouch OS.

Vivo X50 Pro powered by Snapdragon 765G, coupled with 8GB Ram and UFS2.1 storage. It doesn’t have a micro SD card slot for memory expansion and also doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which might concern many users. The phone comes with 4315mah battery, that supports 33W fast charging, it can charge the phone 0% – 50% in just 25 minutes.

On the optics side, the rear has a quad-camera setup, the main 48MP sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom, A 13MP portrait sensor with 2X zoom, and 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front side, there’s a punch-hole cutout housing a 32MP camera.

Vivo X50 Pro Plus

Vivo X50 pro plus, According to the length of its name, the device has some great specs accordingly. It’s a proper flagship smartphone, X50 pro plus comes with powerful snapdragon 865 processor based on 7nm, starting with 8GB ram and 128GB Storage it can go up to 12GB/256GB.

Vivo X50 pro plus display features 6.56 inches super AMOLED display with full HD+ resolution. It has a 90.6% screen to body ratio with 398-pixel density. The phone also supports the HDR10+ and 120hz refresh rate. Though it made of glass with an aluminum frame, It weighs 181gram.

It also comes with the same battery capacity 4315mah that support 44W fast charging and it can charge the phone 0% -100% in just 40mins

Talking about the cameras, The main 50MP sensor with the aperture of f1.9, A 8MP telephoto lens, A 13MP portrait sensor, and A 8MP ultra-wide camera. For the selfies, it has a 32MP camera. Camera features include Optical image stabilization (OIS), beauty mode, night mode, and 5X optical zoom.

On the connectivity front, it supports Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C, and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
