MIUI 12 Has officially launched alongside MI 10 youth. Xiaomi’s latest skin MIUI 12 is based on Android 10. Xiaomi pays more attention to improving the aesthetics of the interface and the new skin comes with tons of new features. Features like dark mode. AI Calling, new animations, redesign elements, improved privacy control, and new health App. It seems more flattered and seamless.
Talking about the visuals, there is a new animation on the launching and closing of apps. Xiaomi claims that it is more fluid and faster than before. New live wallpapers are just amazing, each time when you unlock the phone live wallpaper zooms in from space view to an aerial shot, and these are inspired by Earth, Moon, and Mars.
MIUI 12 comes with some new gestures. swipe down on the notifications panel to see a new notification without having to abandon what you’re doing. You can also slide down on the notification panel to expand it into a small window. There is also an improvement in privacy protection with barbed. Barbed Wire function allows you to take control of your own app permissions and erase sensitive information when sharing documents. It takes care of comprehensive privacy management. Granting App permissions only when necessary and prohibit the use of cameras in the background. High-risk behaviors are directly prohibited. It also helps with sharing files safely.
Dark mode 2.0
MIUI 12 comes with dark mode 2.0 that brings wallpaper dimming it gradually dims the wallpaper as day times changes into the night time. New Dark mode automatically adjusts the weight and boldness of font to reduce eye strains and also improve the legibility of text in low-lit conditions.
