HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 Pro Launch

HTC U20 5G & HTC Desire 20 pro launched in Taiwan, the company made a comeback after a long time, HTC was a well-known smartphone brand it was fizzled from the smartphone market because it can’t compete with its rival company’s like Apple, Samsung, Huawei, However Company has decided to come back with the 2 midrange smartphones HTC U20 5G that has snapdragon 765 processor, and HTC Desire 20 Pro with snapdragon 665 processor. Both the phone packs with quad-camera setup and bigger 5000mah battery.

Both the phones are unveiled on the official HTC Taiwan website, the pricing of these devices, and the availability is yet to know, the company made a hint through twitter, about its global launch.

HTC U20 5G

HTC U20 will be the company’s first 5G smartphone. It features a 6.8 inches full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080X2400 and has the aspect ratio of 20:9. On the top left of the front, cutout for selfie camera housing a 32MP sensor. The rear of the phone packs a quad-camera setup along with led flash. The fingerprint scanner is situated at the center of the back, below that HTC branding. The phone runs on Android 10 out of the box. The phone comes in 2 colors green and silver color

Under the hood, the phone packs with a snapdragon 765 5G processor, which is tuned for performance coupled with 8GB Ram and 256GB onboard storage. You can also expand the storage via dedicated Macro SD card slot

Talking about the cameras, the phone comes with quad cameras, the main 48MP sensor with the aperture of f1.8, A 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and two sensors of 2MP, one for macro and another for depth. The camera features include 4K recording, Face deduction, beauty mode, night mode, instant portrait mode, etc.

HTC U20 5G packs with a massive 5000mah battery that supports quick charge 4.0 (18W). Comparing to the other brands offering, 18W charger looks quite slow

The phone measures 171.2×78.1×9.4mm and weigh about 215.5 grams. On the connectivity front, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, 5G connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack

HTC Desire Pro

HTC Desire Pro comes with 6.5 inches Full HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) punch-hole display. The device measures at 162 x 77 x 9.4 mm and weights at 201grm. It runs on Android 10 out of the box. The phone comes in two colors Smoky Black, Pretty Blue

Under the hood, it packs with a snapdragon 665 processor. Couple with 6GB Ram and 128GB internal storage, you can also expand the storage via Macro SD card. The phone packs with a bigger 5000mah battery that support quick charge 4.0 (15W)

Talking about the cameras, it packs with the quad-camera setup, the main 48MP with the aperture of f1.8, A 8MP ultra-wide sensor, A 2MP macro, and another 2MP  depth sensor. On the front side, there’s a cutout for selfie camera housing a 25MP sensor

On the connectivity side, it comes with Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, headphone jack, and it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
